Mimosa pudica is a plant native to tropical rainforests, which reacts to the slightest touch by folding its leaves and branches to simulate a withered plant and deter predators. This mechanism also works with light, and the leaves shrink at night. During the summer, it produces small pink flowers and can reach up to 50 cm in height.
